School,school,school...

Sometimes a person begins to feel as thought their entire life revolves around one thing. Well, I believe mine tends to lean toward anything acedemic, not that I myself am overly , but it seems as though I have been involved in school , in one form or fashion, almost my whole life! Let's take a look , shall we? I did my time of 13 years just like everyone else in the U.S., then went on to college and only stayed for about 2 years(perhaps this is where I messed up). Then, I had a break for about 4 years and it was time for Zoe' to begin school...we decided to homeschool;-). And so, here I am 6 years later still "in" school everyday. Not only that, but I also get to listen to everything that James is learning when he gets home(I do love that;-). Only now, I get to do school with 4 different grades at once! Maybe the I am a lot more hard headed than I thought I was and the Lord is just giving me a few more chances;-). Whatever the deal is, I still have a long way to go (teaching, I mean)and I really enjoy being on this end...most days. Don't get me wrong, I really liked school and love teaching my kids, but this week has been a bit trying.Though we'll get through it , I'm sure. I am posting a few cute pics of the kids doing their school work. Please note the extra curricular requirements. You see, in this house not only do we require that they study the basics...reading, writing, and 'rithmetic. But we also add in a few things that we believe to be nessecity for a seminarian's kid...Spurgeon's Soul Winner, Grudem's theology, MacArthur's commentary, and Old Testament Survey. Just the kind of reading every kid enjoys! Just look at them soaking it in;-). Did I mention the nonconformist? Well, you'll see him hangin' around too.

Hey guys,
My name is Frank, and I'm the worship pastor at Anchor Baptist Church down here in Kemah. Your mom, Wanda, was telling me all about your family, and it's been great getting to read about you. It's so good to hear about Christ laborers as yourself, and, upon just learning of James schooling and calling to missions, will pray for you and your family.
