water is my friend
Judah could not stand water for at least 2 weeks after we returned from Ecuador...as you can see , he now loves it!
Summer Time
It has been a long while since I last posted, but there is a very good reason for this! We have been busy and it is summer!! Praise the Lord...it's hot (okay,really it's just kinda warm to those of us from TX) and this means that we are outside pretty much ALL day,every day:-). I love it!! We are slowly working our way through paperwork and trying to figure out what classes are next on the list for James.
The kids are slowly starting school again...math,english,things like that but not all day. We are really just enjoying what is left of the summer and trying to take it easy. Well, as easy as one can take it with 7 others around;-).Until next time...

so cool
Here are the coolie converse...they are not suppose to have shoestrings ;-). And for those of you,like James, who think this is "just not right". Sorry, but I liked them, so this is what he got!
Kickin' it with Converse
Judah got new shoes because he is now a big one year old!Off with the Robeez and bring on the Converse! He is so cute with them on. He really likes the hard bottom and has found that they can have quite a few uses...wearing, throwing(sometimes at a brother who may or may not deserve it;-) and amazingly, they can be used to produce drum like sounds when they are repeatedly beat on something. It is fun but I think the other kids enjoyed the soft Robeez more;-).
We have had a lovely couple of weeks since we've returned from Ecuador. It seems as though everyone in the house has gotten sick at least once, and a few more than once. I will spare you the lovely details...but we have managed to be a little productive in that time and almost have our application for the board finished. We have also been preparing the house for showing and all that. We have put it up for sale...so, if you know anyone who is looking;-)please send them our way!
